Deer's Well and it's founder
Deer's Well was established by Sean Callagy to be a place of trustworthy information, products and services relating to natural health and well-being.
Inspired by personal experience, Sean Callagy left a career in youth and community development in 1998 to enter the holistic care field. Initially treating and then teaching subtle energy work, Seán became aware of the importance of diet and nutrition after Live Blood Analysis in 1999.
It revealed essential fatty acid and mineral deficiencies were being further compounded by a diet that supported the growth of yeast in his bloodstream. His personal transition to an alkalarian way of living saw him shed extra pounds, lose caffeine and sugar cravings in a way that he sustains to this day. At this time he also became aware of the need to avoid harmful chemicals in personal care and other products and began to develop his own herbal skin creams.
In keeping with his holistic principles, while providing alkalarian food workshops soon thereafter Seán continued developing his therapeutic skills, qualifying as a Bowen practitioner in 2002. He then studied Live Blood Analysis in 2003 and began training with The HANDLE® Institute the following year.
Working with his own neurological and behavioural issues since then, he qualified as a HANDLE® Screener in 2007. During this training he became increasingly aware of the importance of nervous system function and this inspired him to train in both The Dorn Method and Sound & Music in Therapy in 2008.
This indepth combination of professional study and personal experience allows him provide sensitive, thorough and effective support for those who want to be well. He provides this support through this website, phone consultations, home visits as well as clinics, talks and workshops in:
- The Wine Street Wellness Centre, Sligo
- Rossinver, Co. Leitrim
- Crann Og, Gort, Co. Galway
He is also available to provide demonstrations, talks and workshops in energy awareness, Bowen, The HANDLE Approach and herbal cream making throughout the country.
